mv Discovery
 Discovery World Cruises specialises in cruising to exotic and adventurous destinations around the world. MV Discovery is small enough to dock in remote ports that cannot be reached by larger cruise ships, and many Discovery cruise itineraries include a night or two on land before or after the cruise. The MV Discovery carries just 698 passengers, so Discovery cruise line passengers enjoy the service and attention of a smaller ship with all of the luxury and amenities found on the finest cruise liners. On Discovery World Cruises, onboard workshops and lectures given by experts in natural history, geology, anthropology and science further enhance the experience.
Inaugurated in May 2003, MV Discovery features cruise tours of 13 to 27 days to exotic locales from Antarctica to Easter Island, the Chilean fjords to the South Pacific, as well as passage to New Zealand, Fiji, Hawaii, Mayan Mexico, the Panama Canal and trans-Atlantic crossings. Of medium size, with a deeper-than-average draft, she is large enough for stability but nimble enough to maneuver smaller harbors. The ship itself is the former Island Princess, built in 1972 and fresh from a multi-million dollar refitting in 2003.

Cabins
The ship provides 350 cabins sleeping 2 to 4 passengers, including 2 single cabins. The cabins have twin beds or a double bed, and some cabins have upper berths which can be folded away when not required. The maximum number of lower berths is 698. Cabins on Discovery are tastefully furbished to provide maximum space and comfort and are fully equipped with private facilities, television, air-conditioning, hairdryer and personal safe.
