Pathways offer for Orion II Inaugural voyage.

As one of our Top 100 guests we are extending this offer to you in advance of our other pathways guests, giving you a head start on the rest!

To celebrate the announcement of our second ship we would like to exclusively invite our Pathways guests to join us on the inaugural voyage of Orion II .

We are planning this to be an exciting 24 -night voyage from Vancouver to Kushiro, Japan, taking in Alaska, the Aleutian Islands, the Kamchatka Peninsula of the Russian Far East, through the Kuril Islands to Japan - in our Orion way, very much a path less travelled. A preliminary 'concept' itinerary is attached - this is subject to change based on later scouting, but it provides a good idea of the intended inaugural voyage. We are still finalising our itineraries for 2011 so we do not have a firm departure date or prices as yet - however these will be ready in late January 2010 and shared with you at that time .

We are offering all our Pathways guests the chance to place a fully refundable $1,000 deposit on this voyage to secure accommodation onboard. If the voyage is not completely secured by Pathways we will open it up to the general public for sale - I know there will be significant interest in this voyage from the North American market but as you have shown great loyalty to Orion we are offering this to you first.

Guests who pay the deposit will be contacted as soon as we have confirmed dates and pricing and at that time you will be able to pick the stateroom or suite of your choice (on a first come first served basis) and pay the regular 25% deposit. If you decide at that point that you do not want to proceed with the booking, we will refund your full deposit.

There are only 50 staterooms or suites available on the ship, so we will take the deposits for the first 50 expressions of interest and then put further guests on a waitlist. Please call your Cruise Master at Cruisecall on 1800 334 500  to express interest and make a deposit.
